Proiect ”Prin ochii mei” – rezumat (ro. & eng.)

In 2015 prioritatile stabilie in ceea ce priveste HIV nu sunt respectate, dreptul persoanelor seropozitive la viata este incalcat flagrant, iar remedierea acestor probleme nu se intrevede in viitorul apropiat. Intr-o Romanie cu pretentii de stat membru al UE, condamnam la moarte mii de persoane, fara remuscare, ascunzandu-ne in spatele statisticilor si a prioritatilor bugetare.

Obiectiv General:

Respectararea dreptului la viata si la sanatate pentru persoanele seropozitive din Romania
O1: Imputernicirea a 90 de persoane seropozitive pentru a se implica in rezolvarea problemelor cu care se confrunta
O2: La finalul proiectului exista o pozitie oficiala a autoritatilor cu responsabilitate in asigurarea tratamentului pentru persoanele seropozitive, fata de intreruperile de tratament din Romania
O3: La finalul proiectului 4000 de persoane din populatia generala sunt informate si sensibilizate cu privire la drepturile persoanelor seropozitive
Obiectiv de dezvoltare organizationala:
O4: Dezvoltarea capacitatii de management si colaborare a federatiei si asociatiilor membre

Grupul tinta al proiectului este reprezentat de persoanele seropozitive din Romania si populatia generala.

Principalele activitati ale proiectului sunt :
Intalniri cu persoane afectate de HIV, in 6 judete in care nu exista asociatii de pacienti
Conferinte de presa „ Persoana seropozitiva, o prioritate locala” in 6 judete in care nu exista asociatii de pacienti
Sprijin pentru constituirea a 2 asociatii de persoane seropozitive
Campanie de lobby si advocacy „ Prin ochii mei” care va contine ca subactivitati: Realizarea raportului „Tratamentul ARV in Romania – incotro?”; Realizarea unei seriei de 2 filme legate de problemele de interupere a tratamenului persoanelor seropozitive si de discriminare; Realizarea unui plan de lobby si advocacy pentru Campanie; Initierea dialogului cu institutiile implicate in asigurarea tratamentului; Screening si diagnoza organizationala pentru UNOPA si asociatiile membre, pentru a cunoaste modul in care federatia si asociatiile de pacienti raspund nevoilor beneficiarilor, factorilor interesati si populatiei generale
Durata proiectului: 12 luni
Costul proiectului : Suma solicitata 70 470 CHF; valoarea contributiei proprii 7830 CHF

 

In 2015 the HIV/AIDS priorities are not respected, the right to life of the PLHIV is blatantly violated, and the remediation of these problems is not looming in the near future. In a country as Romania with pretensions of EU Member State, we sentence thousands of people to death without remorse, hiding behind statistics and budget priorities.

Goal:

Respecting the rights to life and health for people living with HIV in Romania

O1: Empowering 90 people living with HIV to become involved in solving the problems they face
O2: At the end of the project there is an official stand from the authorities with responsability in the provision of treatment for PLHIV regarding the treatment interruptions in Romania 
O3: At the end of the project 4000 people from the general population are informed and aware about the rights of the PLHIV 
Objective of organizational development:
O4 Management capacity building and cooperation of the federation and its member associations
The target group of the project is represented by the people living with HIV/AIDS in Romania and the general population. 

The main activities of the project are:
Meetings with people affected by HIV in 6 counties in which there are no patient associations 
Press conferences „The HIV infected person, a local priority” in 6 counties in which there are no patient associations 
Support for the foundation of two associations of PLHIV
Lobby and advocacy campaign „Through my eyes” which will have as subactivities: Elaborating the report „ARV Treatment in Romania – where to?”; Creating a series of 2 films regarding the problems of treatment interruption and discrimination for the PLHIV; Making a lobby and advocacy plan for the campaign; Initiating dialogue with the institutions involved in providing treatment; Organizational screening and diagnose for UNOPA and its member associations, in order to assess the way in which the federation and the patient associations meet the needs of the beneficiaries, stakeholders and general population
